Yeoman's Acre is characterful period former farmhouse, situated in the pretty village of Colyford. An ideal location for exploring the best of both West Dorset and East Devon, the village is just 1.5 miles from the coast at Seaton, and overlooking the Axe Estuary, making it a perfect base to enjoy either a relaxing retreat or an action packed holiday.
Two one-bedroom self catering holiday cottages are available to let, converted from the former dairy, plus a three bedroom cottage which was originally the old cider press. This is fantastic accommodation for families and groups, with a huge oak-beamed living area with wood-burning stove, farmhouse kitchen and it's own garden area.
Yeomans Acre is ideally positioned for anyone wanting to walk in South Devon or Dorset. Easy access to the coast, and the local area is also beautiful. The cottages are beautifully furnished and couldn’t be more comfortable. We had a marvellous time, and we’ll be back!
Stayed in The Old Cider Press – April 2021
Rose Cottage is just a delightful place to spend a week. Bill and Joanna went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The location of Yeomans Acre is perfect, just a few minutes to the tram for the beach, and there is so much to do in the local area. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Stayed in Rose Cottage – May 2021
A really sweet little cottage! We loved our week in Colyford, so much to do in the surrounding area, even in the rain, and returning to the cosy cottage in the evenings was a complete joy!
Stayed in Hollie Cottage – June 2021
